What do you have planned for your sweetie?

Well, thanks to my husband's inability to keep a secret, I already know what he's got me!  He ordered me a stunning pair of pink tourmaline heart-shaped earrings and Mrs Brown's Boys - Season 1. I must admit, I love Mrs Brown's Boys (yes, it's a man in a feckin dress - as Brendan O'Carroll says) but it is really funny!

Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1

I really cannot wait until 11th February - I'm waiting very IMPATIENTLY for my copy of this movie.

I still wish that the producers had made more of the bickering between Jacob and Rosalie, but I'm really looking forward to seeing it on my 42" plasma on Valentine's Day and force my hubby to watch it with me.

Hurry Up Valentine's Day!

Ok, I might come across as incredibly practical, but that doesn't mean that I ignore Valentine's Day.

This year might just be extra special and possibly romantic too.  I've already sorted out a surprise for the man in my life.  I'm hoping to arrange a nice, quiet romantic meal at home too.  Fortunately, the salmon is already in the freezer.

Now all I will need is a certain film starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to make my day complete!  I know my fella reads this blo...

Breaking Dawn - Review

Is it just me?  Am I the only one who was disappointed by the total lack of banter between Jacob Black and Rosalie Hale in this film?

I have read and re-read the books and their characters really stand out on the page - full credit to Stephenie Meyer for creating characters that spark off each other so well - that electricity in the book is well written and I especially loved the part where Rosalie is asked to bring Jacob some food and she shapes a metal dish into a dog bowl.  That would have ...
