Inheritance Circle/Cycle - whatever!

Well, I finished reading the final instalment from Christopher Paolini's adventures of Eragon, Shadeslayer and Dragon Rider...

Much of it works out as expected, however, my main feelings upon finishing the fourth book were of immense loneliness and sadness.  To say that the series doesn't finish on a particularly high note is an understatement, and I'm an original fantasy reader, in that I believe in happily ever after!

Still Reading Inheritance Cycle

I must admit, I am still absolutely loving Christopher Paolini's work! 

From my previous post on this subject, I am happy to say I got some aspects right, but I also got a lot of stuff wrong!  I'm not going to go into any details, as I think the books are well worth buying and reading for yourselves!

The Time for Dragon Riders will Come Again...

Eragon... Eldest... Brisingr... Inheritance...  I have all four of them now and have just started reading Brisingr.

Eragon's story, I already knew thanks mainly to the cinematic release.  However, I think the pundits in Hollywood did a massive disservice to this particular film!

They got some of the action right, but some parts of it were sped up, which was confusing at best, and other times the film seemed to go so slow.  It's a shame, because the film had so much potential and I really can't ...

Resident Evil - A New World

I'm the first to admit that I'm not a gamer.  I have pretty poor hand-eye coordination and struggle playing the simplest games, even in real life.  I suck at ten-pin bowling and this is probably the simplest game going!

I can get engaged very simply by watching my other half quite happily battering a zombie to death with a crow bar or hockey stick.  Games like BioShock and Resident Evil are engaging and very easily drag you in.  For someone like myself, who proudly announcers her non-gaming a...
