My daughter (bless her) is really sweet and keeps offering to make me cups of tea.  Unfortunately, the milky yak that she makes, to me doesn't make a cup of tea.  I like my tea a nice golden colour with plenty of flavour and not a single drop of sugar.  I can even tell when the spoon has been stirred in a sugary cup prior to my own...  Very frustrating for my family having me so demanding, but when a cup of tea is all you want to drink, you want it to be right!

However, occasionally she does get things right.  Instead of making me a cup of tea, she made me a coffee.   Now coffee is one of those drinks that I can drink in any way, shape, or form.  It can sometimes be a little strong, but if it's first thing on a morning, I really don't mind that.

My son remarked that in this way I am almost exactly like Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter.  She loves her coffees and says, “I never met coffee that wasn't wonderful. It was just a matter of how wonderful it was.”  I must admit, I concur with her 100%!

I have read the entire Anita Blake bibliography before now, and I am tempted again, but I have some Sherrilyn Kenyon masterpieces glaring at me from the top of my bookshelf - so far these have remained unopened... But not for much longer.  I guess I'll be reading the Dark Hunter series first, meeting Acheron and the gang.  Seriously, if you want a book that will take you through every emotion you could possibly ever feel, you need to read Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon!
