Alright ladies, contain yourselves - it will be here very soon.

What am I talking about?  Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1!!!!  (Naturally)  It finally gets its UK release on 12th March!  I have waited SO LONG for this and I'm really chomping at the bit to get my teeth into my very own DVD which I will guard religiously and not even allow my teenage son to borrow... EVER!

To say I'm excited is an understatement!  I guess most women feel an affinity with Bella.  The very lucky minority of us, I think, fall in love very deeply with someone who loves us back so absolutely that any thought of being apart from them is quite unthinkable!  Edward, I think, loses the plot completely in this film; driven to insanity by the thought of losing Bella to a monster, while Jacob is living with the knowledge that he has lost Bella to a monster - Edward!

It's a sad situation in which they find themselves, but if you were told that you could never be a parent and suddenly you found that you were in the position where you were going to have a child, would you be able to give it up?  At least Rosalie agrees with Bella about the baby so she has someone fighting her corner.  Edward is pissed off because the decision was taken without his knowledge or consent - but it isn't a simple situation as he has already resolved to kill himself on one previous occasion when he thought Bella was dead.  We know he would not be around to bring the child up to adulthood if Bella's change fails.

So, the film follows Bella and Edward from their wedding ceremony all the way to the birth; and Bella's change to vampire, with Jacob coming very close to killing Renesmee...  I can't wait to see Bella's reaction to that in Breaking Dawn - Part Two... But I want the first one to arrive so badly.

With Mothers' Day coming up, there are no more excuses!  I know you're reading this fella of mine, so be sure to pay attention.  You didn't get me it from the states in February...  You better get me it for Mothers' Day... OR ELSE!

I'm now off to glower and give murky looks to my fella from my corner for the rest of the evening.  Come back soon for yet another blog post!
